Wolff: Mercedes ‘flattered’ by results in first four races
Lewis Hamilton (left) and Valtteri Bottas (right) after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Toto Wolff insists that his Mercedes team has been ‘flattered’ by its four one-two finishes in as many races at the start of the 2019 Formula 1 season. The Silver Arrows achieved the unprecedented feat when Valtteri Bottas headed Lewis Hamilton home in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix as Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel finished third. Mercedes has not, however, had the fastest car on each grand prix weekend to date.
