Raikkonen happy with P7 after challenging middle stint
Bahrain Grand Prix – Kimi Raikkonen brought home more valuable points for Alfa Romeo in Sunday's race, finishing P7 in his second race with the former Sauber squad. Raikkone qualified P9 for Sunday's race, making it into the Q3 session for the second consecutive time with the midfield team. He then enjoyed a combative race, running the Medium tyre for the middle stint before a 24 lap sprint to the finish on the Soft tyres. He was set for a P8 finish when the Renault of Nico Hulkenberg blew up in front of him in the closing stages, elevating him to P7 behind Lando Norris.
