Charles Leclerc: 'A lot of emotions' as he claims maiden pole position

Bahrain Grand Prix – Charles Leclerc claimed a stellar maiden pole position during a qualifying showdown between himself and Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel. The young Monegasque driver took pole position with a fastest time of 1:27.866, his second flying lap. As it turned out, Sebastian Vettel's sole late flyer didn't beat Leclerc's initial flying lap, meaning Charles actually put in two laps good enough for pole position.
