Hulkenberg & Giovinazzi summoned before the stewards

Bahrain Grand Prix – Renault's Nico Hulkenberg & Alfa Romeo's Antonio Giovinazzi have been summoned before race stewards at Sakhir. The two drivers were on their cooldown laps at the end of the first practice session at Sakhir International Circuit when an apparent misunderstanding led them to collide. Hulkenberg slowed approaching Turn 5 to allow the Alfa of Kimi Raikkonen through. With Raikkonen's teammate Giovinazzi close behind, the Italian driver attempted to follow the Finn through and dived up the inside of the Renault through the second part of the esses. The two made reasonably heavy contact, leading Hulkenberg to shout expletives over team radio as he returned to the pits....
