Fernando Alonso to return to F1 action next week with McLaren/Pirelli test

Bahrain Grand Prix – Fernando Alonso will have his first taste of Formula 1 action in 2019 next week, as he's scheduled to take part in the in-season test in Bahrain. Bahrain's Sakhir International Circuit plays host to the first of two in-season tests next week, taking place on the Tuesday and Wednesday following the Grand Prix at the venue. Several teams have already announced their planned line-ups, which includes the first appearances of Mick Schumacher and Dan Ticktum in contemporary machinery.
