Critical Leclerc ‘didn't do the job' in Q3

Charles Leclerc was his own biggest critic after only qualifying P5 for the Australian Grand Prix. Leclerc edged out Lewis Hamilton for top spot in Q1 and looked to be setting up a ding-dong battle between Ferrari and Mercedes. But, Mercedes' grip would only get stronger and stronger as they locked out the front row in emphatic style. Leclerc, meanwhile, could only manage to bag a P5 spot on the grid with Max Verstappen in P4 splitting the Frenchman away from his team-mate Sebastian Vettel in P3.
