Ticktum remains hopeful for Red Bull test in 2019 after licence trouble
Dan Ticktum remains hopeful of getting a vital opportunity to test a Red Bull F1 car during the 2019 season. Last year, Ticktum missed out because he didn't have enough superlicence points. The Brit believes he'll be able to demonstrate enough talent to be given a full-time seat in 2020. The 19-year-old has picked up two wins in the Macau Grand Prix and finished 2nd in last year's Formula 3 European Championship. Last week Tictum got another flavour of a Formula 1 car when he paraded the 2011 RB7 in Japan at the Suzuka fan festival.
