Kimi Raikkonen clocked the fastest time of the opening Formula 1 pre-season test as he put Alfa Romeo top during Wednesday’s morning session. Raikkonen used Pirelli’s C4 tyres to click a 1:17.762, marking the first sub 1:18s of the test so far, as he denied ex-Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel top spot. Vettel nonetheless wound up second, six-tenths behind Raikkonen, as Ferrari finished off top spot for the first time this week.
