Williams to miss opening day of F1 testing

Williams FW42 The opening day of Formula 1 pre-season testing will see all teams bar Williams hit the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. Teams have a total of eight days of testing ahead of the new season, broken up into two official four-day tests at the Spanish venue. Williams however has revealed that it will not take part in the opening day of testing, scheduled to begin this evening Australian time. The squad was forced to cancel a shakedown test it had scheduled for last week as the team busied itself with final preparations for the new car.
