“I think we have a good chance” – Raikkonen
Kimi Raikkonen has said that he believes Sauber “have a good chance to do some great things” in the 2019 Formula 1 season. The 2007 FIA Formula 1 World Champion made a move from Ferrari to Sauber at the end of the season last year after having spent five years with the Scuderia from 2014 and three seasons beforehand from 2007 – 09. He will be partnering Ferrari’s junior driver Antonio Giovinazzi for the team but is in good spirits after Sauber improved last season, moving from near the back of the field to contending the mid-field teams.
