Red Bulls future in Formula 1 is uncertain as they look to Le Mans alternative
Red Bull could leave Formula 1 in order to pursue success in the World Endurance Championship alongside Aston Martin if they don't like the rule changes for 2021. Red Bull have confirmed that they will stay in the sport until 2020 but their future after that is uncertain. It is thought that they could change to racing Le Mans and drop Formula 1 completely. Dr Helmut Marko has revealed to Autosport that "We have an agreement until 2020," "As long as there is no engine regulation and no Concorde Agreement, neither Red Bull nor Honda will make a decision.
