McLaren F1 reserve Sette Camara moves to DAMS for 2019 F2 season
McLaren Formula 1 reserve driver Sergio Sette Camara will spend 2019 in Formula 2 with DAMS, his third season in the division. The switch had been expected since the end of the season after Sette Camara drove for DAMS throughout testing in Abu Dhabi after the season finale. The Brazilian will team up with Nicholas Latifi after he was retained from Williams for a third season and team principal Jean-Paul Driot described the line-up as "such a strong team.” "We are excited for Sergio to come on board with us," said Driot.
