Haas F1 driver Romain Grosjean has hailed his first run in Q3 during qualifying in Abu Dhabi as one of the best laps of his career, as the Frenchman finished best of the rest in P7 for the American team. His lap might not stand out as much when looking at the table, as he finished half a second behind Max Verstappen in P6 and less than a tenth in front of rookie Charles Leclerc's Sauber in P8. However, he was over a second quicker than teammate Kevin Magnussen who finished down in P13.
