Fernando Alonso And McLaren To Make Indy500 Return Next Year

McLaren F1 Team and Fernando Alonso will return to race in the Indy500 next year. The Spaniard will not race in Formula 1 next year as the Spaniard will seek new adventures in the Motorsport world. The two-time world champion is aiming to become the second driver ever to complete ‘the triple crown'. After successfully winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year, Alonso has only the Indy500 left to win to complete the set. He competed in 2017's edition of the event, displaying a strong performance in his first attempt behind a wheel of an IndyCar but retired in the closing stages of the race.
