Kvyat seals Toro Rosso return for 2019

Russian Grand Prix – Toro Rosso have confirmed that Daniil Kvyat will compete for the team in the 2019 season, replacing the promoted Pierre Gasly. The Russian driver has been given a third stint at the team having initially made his Toro Rosso debut back in 2014. He was promoted to Red Bull for 2015 following the departure of Sebastian Vettel to Ferrari, and took a best finish of second place at the Hungarian Grand Prix. However, he was demoted back to Toro Rosso part-way through 2016, facilitating the promotion of Max Verstappen to Red Bull.
