Another race, another bold Ferrari tyre strategy

Needing to take points off Lewis Hamilton in the title race, Sebastian Vettel has gone aggressive with his tyre choices for the upcoming Russian Grand Prix. Pirelli are taking the hypersoft, ultrasoft and soft tyres to the Sochi circuit, the same selection available at last weekend's Singapore Grand Prix. And while strategy was not Ferrari's strong point at the Marina Bay circuit, they are hoping to maximise that in Russia. Vettel has opted for nine sets of the pink tyres, three of the ultrasofts and one soft. Red Bull have gone down the same road.
