Alonso in first IndyCar road course test

Fernando Alonso completes his first day at IndyCar at Barber Motorsports Park yesterday and described it as a "good day". Alonso, who is retiring from Formula One at the end of this season, is considering switching sports to Indianapolis 500, in the hope he can achieve the 'Triple Crown' - the pinnacle of motorsport. The McLaren driver tested the #29 Andretti Autosport during his first ever road course event and there were even some rain showers chucked in for the veteran driver.
