Sainz on Kvyat: "I knew he'd come back to F1 one day"

With rumours of Daniil Kvyat making a comeback to Formula One next season, his former teammate Carlos Sainz isn't surprised by that at all, as he knew the Russian would make a return one day. Ever since his demotion from Red Bull back to Toro Rosso in 2016, Kvyat looked worse and worse every race. At the end of 2017, Toro Rosso decided to axe the Russian and bring in Pierre Gasly to replace him and to finish the 2017-season. This year, the 24-year-old held himself busy as a simulator-tester for Ferrari, which most of his time being spent at the factory.
