Vandoorne happy chassis issue fixed as his McLaren seat could be at stake

Stoffel Vandoorne's chassis which had been causing the Belgian a wrath of problems in recent races has finally been fixed according to Vandoorne himself. He had been off of his teammate's pace by a large margin, which Fernando Alonso explained was down to his chassis rather than a lack of speed. Speaking to media after the Hungarian Grand Prix, Vandoorne was relieved to have experienced a normal weekend in comparison to the lowly finishes he had endured up to that point. Despite not finishing the race due to a gearbox failure, Vandoorne told media that he was happy with the way his weekend had gone. "It is back to normal and that's positive. It was good to have a normal weekend again....
