Hamilton takes victory as strategy battle costs Ferrari – Race Report
Hungarian Grand Prix – Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton has won the race at the Hungaroring, while Ferrari had to settle for second best after a strategy error cost them track position. With qualifying taking place in wet conditions, it meant that the start of the race meant the drivers could select whatever tyre compound they pleased to start. While both Mercedes drivers elected to start on the UltraSofts, the Ferraris decided to split their options: Kimi Raikkonen started on the UltraSoft, with Sebastian Vettel on the Soft.
