James Key is adamant McLaren had a contract nailed down to sign Toro Rosso's technical director James Key. Last week, McLaren announced the deal was done, but Helmut Marko claimed Key was under a long contract at Red Bull. Marko told McLaren they have a "very very long wait" until they could have Key.
