Daniel Ricciardo isn't seeking number 1 status at Red Bull

Daniel Ricciardo has denied his contract delay is because of a squabble over who's going to be number one at Red Bull next season. Max Verstappen will be racing for the Austrian team next season, but Ricciardo's contract remains up in the air. At one point, it looked like the Australian was making a move to McLaren, as well as Mercedes and Ferrari. But now, even he himself admitted it's more and more likely he will remain at Red Bull. Without pen to paper, questions are being raised over what is causing a delay. The 2018 Monaco Grand Prix winner denies it has anything to do with number one status.
