Kubica confirms he had signed for Ferrari in 2012
Robert Kubica has confirmed he signed a deal to drive for Ferrari in 2012. The current Williams reserve driver is still looking for his return to Formula 1 following his rallying crash in 2011. Kubica, 33, last raced in F1 for Renault. The Polish driver has featured in FP1 twice this season and is scheduled to do so again soon. Speaking in an interview with Formula 1, Kubica revealed what was happening at the time of his accident. "The biggest thing was that that rally was actually going to be my last one, as the team I was going to drive for in 2012 wouldn't have let me rally," Kubica remembered.
