Grosjean: The car is destroyed

Romain Grosjean's season went from bad to improving to worse as he made a glaring mistake during the first free practice of the British Grand Prix weekend, crashing out at high speed during a run in the morning session and as a result was forced to miss FP2 as mechanics repaired his car. “The car is destroyed, I’m very, very sorry,” Grosjean reported over the team radio, suggesting he failed to de-activate the DRS through the ultra-fast Abbey Curve which caused the car to snap out of control at speed.
