Suspension failure triggered Leclerc's gearbox issue as kerbs play their part

Charles Leclerc claims the suspension failure resulted in the gearbox problem which means he will drop five places on the grid. The man from Monaco finished in 13th meaning he will start in 18th. Leclerc, who has been strongly linked to replacing Kimi Raikkonen at Ferrari next season, made it into Q3 for the first time ever in France. He will have to dig out a fantastic display if he goes on to score points in Austria. The initial cause of the suspension failure is likely to have been the yellow kerbs.
