Sebastian Vettel handed grid penalty, drops to sixth for Austrian GP

Sebastian Vettel has been handed a three-place grid penalty for impeding Carlos Sainz during qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix. The penalty drops Vettel from third on the grid to sixth after he qualified behind the two Mercedes cars, including his main championship rival Lewis Hamilton. The stewards noted that Vettel had been driving on the racing line 'quite slowly' and failed to move over for Sainz, unaware that the Spaniard was coming up behind him. 'The Stewards reviewed the video evidence, team radio and heard from the driver of car 5 (Sebastian Vettel), the driver of car 55 (Carlos Sainz) and team representatives,' read a statement from the stewards.  'Car 5 had just...
