Marko: 'Formula 1 perhaps a possibility for Marquez in 2021!'
Red Bull motorsport boss Helmut Marko was so impressed with MotoGP's Marc Marquez's first run in an F1 car that he believes the Spaniard could make the switch from two to four wheels in the future. Marquez pounded around the Red Bull Ring yesterday in a 2012 Red Bull RB8, the Spaniard displaying a remarkable faculty of adaptation to the four-wheel environment. The MotoGP star clocked in at the end of the day with a best lap in 1m14.9s which, while 10 seconds off last year's Austrian Grand Prix pole time set by Valtteri Bottas, was a remarkable feat given the outdated specs of his car.
