Raikkonen dismisses Toyota WRC rumours
Kimi Raikkonen has dismissed recent rumours that he could sign for Toyota's WRC effort for 2019. The Finn left Formula One in 2010 for a brief spell in the World Rally Championship before returning to F1 in 2012 with Lotus. Raikkonen rejected the claims made by Finnish media in the build-up to the Monaco Grand Prix saying the story was pure speculation. “If you speak to the lady who write it you’ll probably find out there’s not much knowledge about racing or anything else,” said Raikkonen. “It’s rumours and (their) ideas.” “For sure I’m interested in rallying whenever I stop, that’s not a secret,” he said. “But I have...
