Verstappen downbeat on race recovery chances from a P20 start

Monaco Grand Prix – Max Verstappen was made to regret his crash in free practice three after being unable to qualify for the Monaco Grand Prix. Damage sustained in his shunt in the final free practice session left Red Bull attempting to repair his car in time for qualifying. However, a combination of the damage and a gearbox change meant there was insufficient time to fix his car for Q1. As a result, Verstappen will start the race from the back of the grid, whilst team-mate Daniel Ricciardo will start the race from pole position.
