Button to race at Goodwood Revival, Le Mans classic

2009 Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button will make his Goodwood Revival festival debut next September as part of the JD classics squad. Button, who is contesting his rookie year in Japan’s Super GT championship with Honda this year, moved away from F1 at the end of last year having acted as third and reserve driver at McLaren last season and stepped in for Fernando Alonso at the Monaco Grand Prix when the Spaniard contested the Indianapolis 500. The British driver has been announced as part of the JD Classics team for the Revival meeting on 7-9 September with his car yet to be officially confirmed.
