Ricciardo wanting no repeat of 2017 Australian GP woes

Australian Grand Prix – Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo is aiming to erase the memory of last year's lacklustre home race and end his podium-less run in Melbourne. Ricciardo's last race in his home country was hampered by both a driver error and technical problems. After crashing out and damaging his gearbox during the final part of qualifying, Ricciardo started the 2017 event from the pit lane three laps into the race. With hopes of points already faint when he joined the race, they were eradicated altogether when he retired with fuel-related issue.
