Sauber: Unfortunate that we lost some track time
With today’s session, winter testing in preparation for the 2018 FIA Formula 1 season has come to an end. The final day of T02 on the Circuit de Catalunya was driven by Charles Leclerc. The young Monégasque driver completed 75 laps throughout the day. His running time was cut short due to a minor incident in the morning, in which he went off track and touched the barriers. With reduced track-time, the work was mainly focused on aerodynamic and mechanical tests, as well as tyre work.
