McLaren fires up new Renault-powered MCL33 engine

McLaren F1 team has fired up its brand-new Renault-powered MCL33 for the first time ahead of its launching on February 23rd. McLaren joins Mercedes, Ferrari and Toro Rosso in sharing its fire-up via social media. The final stage of the last season McLaren the switch power unit supplier and lost two weeks of development time, but technical director Tim Goss said his team was able to quickly gain it back.
