McLaren executive director Zak Brown believes Fernando Alonso will remain 'fresh and focused' despite his commitment to the Toyota LMP1 programme in 2018. With the date for the 'Six Hours of Fuji' now moved a week earlier after a request from Toyota to allow the Spaniard to participate, Alonso is now set to undertake 26 race weekends of racing throughout 2018. There have also been concerns as to whether 'burn out' could be an issue by the end of the season due to his hectic schedule but Brown doesn't believe that will be the case.
