Use of 'grid girls' in Formula 1 is under review - Ross Brawn

The use of 'grid girls' in Formula 1 is to be reviewed according to managing director of motorsports, Ross Brawn. The use of female models, dubbed 'grid girls', as a promotional tool has been a part of F1 and many other motorsport series for decades. Each grid position is assigned a grid girl who holds a sign with the driver's name and number and they often wear a tight fitting outfit adorned with sponsor logos. Brawn admits some may view this as outdated in today's society, whilst others see it as a tradition, but admitted their use would be reviewed as part of plans to modernise the sport.
