Pirelli just released a comprehensive analysis of the 2017 season which reveals a series of interesting facts and numbers. The report dives deep into all sorts of statistics, but one compelling fact is the decrease in the total number of overtaking moves which took place this year. Drivers executed 435 passes in 2017, a huge 49 percent drop from the massive 866 passes which occurred in 2016.
