Todt: No qualms over Kubica's fitness for F1 return

FIA president Jean Todt has no concerns that Robert Kubica could be a fitness risk on his Formula 1 return, if Williams elects to sign the Pole for 2018. Kubica is driving again for Williams in the post-Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Pirelli test next week, as the Grove-based outfit weighs up whether he is capable of making a full-time F1 return. While Renault elected not to continue its pursuit of Kubica because it was not totally convinced about whether or not the former grand prix winner was ready, Williams is believed to be edging closer to signing him as teammate to Lance Stroll.
