Lowndes to drive F1 car in Adelaide
Supercars legend Craig Lowndes will drive a historic Formula 1 car in Adelaide next month. Lowndes will drive an ex-Gerhard Berger Benetton B186 at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival, one of nine old F1 cars signed on for the event. It will be the three-time Supercars champion's second F1 experience, following a demo run in a McLaren at Bathurst in 2011 as part of a Vodafone publicity stunt. Sandown 500 winner Cam Waters will also steer the Benetton during the event. The Adelaide Motorsport Festival will also include an ex-Jos Verstappen 2000-spec Arrows which will driven by Super2 driver Josh Kean. Pete Faulkner will drive his ex-Alan Jones Williams FW07B, while Tim Slade will be back...
