Mercedes' non-executive chairman Niki Lauda is hopeful the new car for the 2018 season will bring out the best in Valtteri Bottas. The Finn recently admitted himself that his confidence had taken a blow and went through a slump with poor performances in Malaysia, Japan and the US.
