Max Verstappen has posted an apology on Instagram following his United States Grand Prix outburst, in which he described the stewards, or one in particular, an 'idiot' after he was penalised for a last-lap pass on Kimi Raikkonen. Verstappen would have finished on the podium without the addition of a five-second time penalty, but the stewards deemed he had cut the corner and gained a 'lasting advantage'. Speaking after the race, Verstappen said: 'It's one idiot steward up there who always makes decisions against me.
