Haas deny favouritism after Singapore orders

Haas insist there is no favouritism within the team after Kevin Magnussen was unhappy about being told to move over for Romain Grosjean in Singapore. Magnussen spent much of the grand prix running just outside the points after being told to move over for Grosjean. The Dane felt that the decision had potentially cost him a points-finish, had he finished. His night, though, came to naught when an engine issue forced him out of the grand prix. Grosjean finished ninth. Asked about the use of team orders, team boss Guenther Steiner said: 'We spoke with the drivers after the race about the situation because we have to clean the air when we make these decisions.
