Renault-backed Aitken to get first F1 run

– Renault Sport Academy member Jack Aitken will get his first run in Formula 1 machinery during a private test at the Circuito de Jerez this week.Aitken joined Renault's revived scheme upon the manufacturer's return to Formula 1 in 2016, and placed fifth in the GP3 championship, alongside selected outings in Formula V8 3.5 and Euroformula Open.Aitken has remained in the tertiary category this season, having switched to the dominant ART outfit, and holds second, 43 points behind Mercedes-backed George Russell, with two rounds left.Aitken will pilot the team's 2012-spec E20, which has been used by several drivers – including Sergey Sirotkin, Nicholas Latifi and Robert Kubica –...
