McLaren confirms three-year Renault deal
McLaren has confirmed that it will use Renault power in Formula 1 from 2018, after signing a three-year deal with the manufacturer, in the wake of its split from Honda. McLaren linked up with Honda in 2015 but the partnership has been plagued by a lack of performance and reliability, and after weeks of speculation the parties announced on Friday that they had mutually agreed to split for 2018.
