Sainz Jr. to step aside for Gelael in FP1

– Toro Rosso has confirmed that Carlos Sainz Jr. will step aside for Sean Gelael during first practice for the Singapore Grand Prix.Gelael, 20, from Indonesia, is preparing for the first of four planned FP1 runs with the team, after test outings in Bahrain and Hungary.He is also set for practice runs in Malaysia, the United States and Mexico."It is an honour to be driving in Formula 1, starting in Singapore and Malaysia, two venues that are so close to my home country, Indonesia," said Gelael, when his outings were announced."I will use the opportunity to absorb like a sponge everything I can and learn as much as possible."I hope I can do a good job for Scuderia...
