Carlos Sainz was not giving anything away ahead of a weekend of anticipated announcements, one of which is expected to be his move to Renault. According to reports in the paddock, the Spaniard will be leaving Toro Rosso at the end of this season – or this weekend – and heading to Renault. Sainz's move is part of Renault's deal to agree to end their engine partnership with Toro Rosso, thus paving the way for McLaren to sign with the French manufacturer.
