STR lacked pace for points - Sainz Jr.

– Carlos Sainz Jr. has accepted that Toro Rosso simply lacked pace to be able to compete for the top 10 at the Italian Grand Prix, as his run of points finishes came to an end.Sainz Jr. started from 15th place on the grid, having preserved his original qualifying position despite taking an engine penalty, due to the array of sanctions elsewhere.Sainz Jr. struggled for pace during the course of the 53-lap race and ultimately came home in 14th.It marked the first time that Sainz Jr. finished a race in Formula 1 outside of the points-paying positions since last year's Mexican Grand Prix."It's not where we wanted to finish, but we struggled simply because we don't have a good...
