Sainz: Nothing to regret I said something very clear

The saga surrounding the future of Carlos Sainz continues to boil in the Red Bull Ring paddock after he claimed during the drivers' press conference on Friday that he thought it was unlikely he would be with Toro Rosso next season and now is sticking by what he said despite irking his Red Bull bosses with his comments. The energy drinks team financed Sainz's career from his junior years through to Formula 1 and he is thus contracted to them. They have triggered the option that ensures he remains with organisation for another year, amid speculation that Ferrari and particularly Renault are interested in his services.
