Williams sets new '17 pit-stop standard

– Williams completed the fastest pit-stop of 2017 so far when it serviced Lance Stroll during the Canadian Grand Prix, ensuring its place at the top of the overall standings.Stroll started his home race from 17th on the grid, moving into the points-paying positions with a sizeable first stint on Ultra Softs, pitting for Super Softs on lap 25/70.After a 2.17s stop, almost 0.4s quicker than his previous best, Stroll recovered lost places, eventually coming home in ninth position, marking his first points in Formula 1.Mercedes put both of its cars in the top four, Valtteri Bottas pitting in 2.34s, and Lewis Hamilton in 2.57s, sandwiching Force India driver Sergio Pérez...
