Jenson Button feels 'well prepared' for Monaco F1 comeback
McLaren-Honda driver Jenson Button says he feels “well prepared” for his Formula 1 comeback, as he prepares to deputise for Fernando Alonso at the Monaco Grand Prix. Button retired from Formula 1 at the end of the 2016 season but remained contracted to McLaren, and has been drafted in to replace Alonso this weekend, with the Spaniard competing at the Indianapolis 500. Button, a victor at Monaco in 2009, says he is ready for his one-off return, despite opting out of piloting the MCL32 in testing last month. “Although I haven’t turned a wheel on track yet in the MCL32, I feel well prepared,” he commented. “I know the track well, of course, and I’ve...
