New guidelines for driver identification

As of next month's Spanish Grand Prix, teams will have to clearly display the drivers' names and numbers on the cars; that's according to new guidelines. Ahead of this weekend's Russian Grand Prix, F1 race director Charlie Whiting has issued new guidelines regarding identification in order to help fans easily recognise the different drivers. Article 9.2 of the Sporting Regulations states that the 'name or the emblem of the make of the car must appear on the front of the nose of the car and in either case be at least 25mm in its largest dimension.
